My name is Scott Roberts (my username at Wikipedia is meade4m).
Recently Michael Vergara gave me this image of astronomer Jean Mueller taken at Palomar Observatory in front of the 48" Oshin Telescope. Both Mr. Vergara and Jean Mueller granted me permission to post this image. I can supply you with Mr. Vergara's or Ms. Jean Mueller's email address so that this can be verified. Here is a copy of the original email sent to me:
Hi Scott:
My wife and I are among the millions of folks you've met through the Meade 4M program. We are also friends with Jean Mueller of Palomar. Recently she asked me to scan an old photograph of her at the Palomar 48" Schmidt telescope. Today she asked me to send it to you.
It's in jpg format, and is kind of large, but this way you can shrink it down to fit your needs.
It is (or...should be) attached to this message. If you don't get it because of file space limitations (it's 2.2M in size) let me know and I'll send you a smaller version.
