English: The 142-metre-long (155 yards) Potemkin Stairs in Odessa (1834-41) was made famous by Sergei Eisenstein in his movie Battleship Potemkin (1925). Postcard from between 1890 and 1900. The inscription reads at the bottom: «8935. p.z. - ODESSA. L'ESCALIER RICHELIEU ОДЕССА. РИШЕЛЬЕВСКАЯ ЛЕСТНИЦА» Publised by the Detroit Publishing Company in 1905.
Français : Carte postale d'une vue entre 1890 et 1900, éditée originellement par la Detroit Publishing Company en 1905. L'escalier du Potemkine, long de 142 mètres, à Odessa, a été construit de 1834 à 1841. Il a été rendu célèbre par le film Le Cuirassé Potemkine, de Sergei Eisenstein, en 1925. Il y a une inscription: «8935. p.z. - ODESSA. L'ESCALIER RICHELIEU ОДЕССА. РИШЕЛЬЕВСКАЯ ЛЕСТНИЦА»
Русский: 142-метровая Потёмкинская лестница в Одессе (1834-41) ставшая знаменитой после того, как режиссер Сергей Эйзенштейн снял фильм Броненосец «Потёмкин» (1925). Снимок лестницы сделан между 1890 и 1900 гг. Надпись на оригинале (в Библиотеке Конгресса в Вашингтоне) на нижнем обрезе на одной строчке: в левом нижнем углу - «8935. p.z. - ODESSA.
